Over the last 10 years of releasing music, I have built an established reputation of my own signature sonic personality, drawing influence from Hip Hop, Sound Design, House, Dubstep, Jungle and Footwork.
This has gained me the support of BBC Radio 1 & 6 DJ’s such as Gilles Peterson and Mary Anne Hobbs, as well as veterans DJ Shadow and The Glitch Mob among many others within the electronic music sphere.
Under ‘Deft’, I have released and remixed music for major labels such as EMI and Decca, and independent labels Brownswood Recordings, 20/20 LDN Recordings, WotNot Music, !K7. In 2019, I started my own label ‘B4 Music’ as an outlet to release my own projects independently, free from any creative constraint or limitations, as well as to invest in other artist projects.
